ARS Rescue Rooter provides residential and commercial install and repair of HVAC Systems. We're proud to offer quality equipment and service to our customers.

ARS Rescue Rooter is looking for an experienced Regional Technical Trainer to join our team full-time. The Regional Technical Trainer will be responsible for designing and developing a technical training program for the following locations; Charleston, Myrtle Beach, and Columbia. As you develop the training program, modifications will need to be made, as well as enhancements to the program. You will be responsible for conducting the training needed for employees in alignment with the business objectives. While in this role you will partner with all levels of Management within the region (Charleston, Myrtle Beach, and Columbia), including our Regional Operations Manager. You'll need to ensure each branch has met the current standards in coordination with corporate initiatives. This role will be based in Charleston, with required travel up to 40% to our branches in Columbia and Myrtle Beach.

This role includes full benefits package (including 401K), laptop, cell phone and company vehicle.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

*

Reviews and evaluates all training materials, methods and design on a continuous basis to improve effectiveness to targeted audiences
*

Serves as a subject matter expert by validating training content and effectiveness, editing for accuracy, and modifying to ensure all content areas are technically accurate and achieve established training goals
*

Develops training schedule for service centers
*

Conducts and participates in needs analysis studies to determine current and anticipated future technical training needs
*

Conducts training sessions covering equipment, components and systems used in commercial and/or residential settings, and other areas as applies
*

Provides technical support to technicians in the field, including during evening and weekend hours, as needed
*

Schedules and conducts job site visits and inspections in accordance with prescribed guidelines for such visits
*

Confers with Service Center and Region management and interfaces with Branch and Regional level training managers and other areas of the organization to gain knowledge of specific products, industry topics, procedures, regulations, and technologies. Maintains exceptional domain knowledge, product expertise, and knowledge of industry practices
*

Ensures that the organization's training programs adhere to appropriate state or local apprenticeship standards
*

Formulates teaching outlines and determines instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, workshops, and create specialty seminars upon request
*

Identifies and develops teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works
*

Identifies and develops testing and evaluation procedures to be used at completion of training. Tests trainees, measures progress, and reports the effectiveness and impact of the programs
*

May assist with interviewing Service Technicians to assess technical proficiency and skill level
*

Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area
*

Observes safety and company rules and regulations in the performance of duties
*

Follow the guidelines for the Senior Care, Ethics, and Quality Assurance Process
*

Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Minimum Education, Training & Experience Required:

* A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is required as well as a minimum of five (5) years of Service and Repair experience in both Plumbing and/or HVAC

* Related experience and/or advanced training or any equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted

* Must be a License Holder for the state of South Carolina

* Must currently have your EPA Universal Certification

* A valid driver's license

* Strong communications/human relations skills are required

* Must possess a working knowledge of general industry standards

* Strong computer skills

* Must possess ability to speak in front of groups and deliver presentations

* Must have experience with Wrightsoft HVAC Design and Sales Software

* Must pass employment Drug & Background check.
