Job Description
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a mental health field plus at least one (1) year of experience in working directly with clients, their families and the agencies that serve them. Additional related experience may be substituted for the degree on a year-for-year basis. Valid driver's license. Applicants possessing a degree in Social Work must have an active license New Jersey certification/licensure as required by the State Board of Social Work. Valid driver's license is required.
Responsibilities:
Provides case management services to mentally ill consumers age 18 and over. Services are in accordance with the principles of Wellness and Recovery, the Habilitation Counselor works with families to maximize the consumers functioning and to gain meaningful and constructive membership in the community.
