Job Description: HW Test Engineer 5767536

The candidate will help design and develop the necessary test stations to support the service solutions worldwide. You will work closely with many different cross-functional teams responsible for client Product design. This position requires international travel, significant management of China based client vendors while also interfacing with the fixture mechanical designers.
Product Service Engineering is the part of client Operations that delights our customers with great support and creative service solutions. The PSE ? Product Service Engineering ? team is responsible for assuring future client products can be repaired in a way that will continue to delight our customers.

The PSE Team is looking for great a highly motivated Engineer with background on complete test station development. In this position, you will lead the design and deployment of test stations used in test and verification of our products. The successful candidate will be based in the Santa Clara Valley.

Key Qualifications:

Hands-on troubleshooting

Good understanding of the technologies used on client?s products (sensors, radio technologies, acoustic transducers, display, etc.)

Excellent verbal/written communication skills

Flexible and capable of handling multi-task operations

Experienced with test stations design based on Engineering / Design requirements

PCB layout design best practices.

Experience on the development and analysis of schematics diagrams and system integration.

Familiarity with development of GR&R processes, correlation and reliability studies.

Good understanding statistical analysis (predictive simulations, MTBF, Cp/Cpk)

Experience with regulatory and compliance requirements (including documentation) for all design solutions for destined countries desirable.
Working knowledge of a scripting language such as Perl or Python.
Innovative with a track record of accomplishments
