The Group Operations Solutions Delivery (GOSD) Team executes the key change initiatives that enable the achievement of our Operations and bank wide strategies; involving a range of process and system/architecture optimization initiatives; working closely with our internal partners and also often with our external vendors:

This role is for a Head of Business Requirements and Functional Design working within GOSD focusing on Cash Management and it's regulatory projects and high priority programs. The primary focus is to:

* To manage and develop the global Business Requirements and Functional Design capability

* Working closely with all PMs and suppliers in managing demand in order to ensure adequate coverage

* Develop and grow the global team in terms of knowledge, appropriate size and location

* Work closely with Cash Management business, engineering teams and project teams to develop functional design

* Ensure standards and Credit Suisse best practice are followed in the development of Business Requirements and Functional Design

* Support the regional Cash Management Business

* Support and work with the GOSD Cash Management lead in managing strategy

* Report progress of work weekly/monthly and ad hoc to Senior Management

* Apply and ensure quality management principles and processes in line with Credit Suisse and GOSD policies

* Ensure all CS policies and standards are followed

* Support the Senior Management in the production of presentation material for communications with all stakeholders

* Be the regional lead for GOSD Cash Management and to be proactive in collaboration in regional initiatives

* Participate and/or lead in requirement elicitation workshops with the business.

* Lead stakeholders to agreement on functional solutions

* Eliciting Functional Requirements and Non Functional Requirements in a clear and concise way

* Defines complete functional solutions in collaboration with counterparts in other functional domains, including: main system flows, edge cases, required data elements, UI behavior & exception handling

* Support PM s in prioritization and decision making to meet project milestones

* Identify, manage and escalate where appropriate project risks and issues associated to requirements gathering, analysis and design

* Supports global development and QA teams across multiple time zones to understand solution and context

* Assign tasks to junior team members and track progress

* Mentor new and junior team members



* Good understanding of a large banking enterprise, its processes and how things get done

* To be able to demonstrate solid knowledge of Cash and Liquidity Management

* Sufficient credibility to influence project teams and senior management in relation to requirements and design

* Managing organizational change: ability to manage the successful and smooth transition from current to desired culture, practices, structure and overall organizational environment.

* Demonstrated success in efficient collaboration across organizational/regional boundaries in a matrix based organization enabling consensus to be achieved

* An innovative, analytical thinker with track record in influencing senior decision makers, with an ability to manage adoption across both IT and the business

* Ability to empower/delegate and motivate associates to accomplish results for which the manager has ultimate responsibility

* A thorough knowledge of the operational aspects of Investment Banking technology and the associated front office touch points

* Ability to understand, appreciate and use the unique contributions of associates of varied cultures, nationalities, ethnic backgrounds, genders, ages, points of view, etc. and manage workforce diversity

* Experience in career management, able to understand what motivates people and how to develop their skills and capabilities

* Confident, assertive and effective communicator able to target communications appropriately for all levels in the organization

* Experience in application development

* Extensive experience delivering large scale programs with both IT and business components

* Educated to degree level, or equivalent, with proven leadership capability and a solid record of delivery

* Proven Business Analysis skills and expertise

* Demonstrable track record of successful delivery in a number of large-scale, high-profile projects

* Delivery focused and deadline driven

* Highly analytical

* Ability to gain consensus when faced with differing views

* Excellent written & oral communication skills; ability to communicate complex issues clearly

* Ability to demonstrate initiative and clear decision making in highly pressured situations
