The primary goal of the US Marketing team is to create high-quality marketing materials in print and digital media that reinforce our brand and promote key campaigns, initiatives and focus strategies to investors and consultants.

The US Marketing team comprises the following areas:

* Branding and Advertising

* RFP and Consultant Databases

* Editorial

* Channel Marketing

* Design

* Digital Marketing

* Communications

Marketing Strategy

* Excel at program development, marketing strategy and database marketing

* Create comprehensive program strategies in support of the Institutional business plan; and contribute to the development of the marketing plan for Institutional

* Leverage the process for developing new customer insight, market knowledge, and data analysis to drive actionable program strategies

* Partner with Institutional Leadership to gain insight and knowledge of the targeted Institutional clients. This includes key needs, trends and emerging opportunities to drive marketing strategies

* Consistently demonstrate how marketing can help the sales cycle, ensuring a positive, long-term relationship with the Institutional clients; includes relevant, on-going and appropriate follow-up efforts

Marketing Management

* Design and deliver integrated marketing initiatives to measurably impact our Institutional clients and align with the goals of Institutional

* Successfully meet expectations tied to the established marketing efficiency and effectiveness benchmarks

* Partner with Institutional Leadership to recommend and execute tailored, relevant and effective integrated marketing initiatives

* Define client-specific target audience, messaging strategy and lead post- campaign evaluation efforts (i.e., back-end analysis when appropriate, etc.).

Sales & Marketing Support

* Assess and deliver on the sales support needs for Institutional and cost- effectively deliver the desired solution

* Build and maintain strong relationships with Institutional Leadership to help determine relevant new business and client support needs

* Efficiently and effectively manage relevant sales support programs (i.e., conferences, events, etc.)

* Work with the CMO and Marketing Business Strategist to oversee and execute support programs represent Marketing team on product work groups

* Manage all product communication and collateral for launches

* Coordinate campaign activities with launches

* Work with business partners (sales, service and consultants) to help prioritize market needs and product roadmaps to achieve and exceed business goals

Work closely with various business partners (primarily Institutional but also with other groups like Product and Business Strategy) at multiple levels on definition and implementation of Business Strategy

* 10+ plus years' experience in partnering with senior management to develop and execute clear, consistent and achievable strategic marketing plans tailored to the institutional market

* Excellent time management and project management skills

* Proven in-depth product, market and industry knowledge, and demonstrate this understanding in the creation and execution of marketing strategies

* Demonstrated track record of success in steering marketing initiatives, including:

-Management prospecting and servicing marketing materials (e.g. Sales presentation pitch books, product fact sheets, brochures) and oversight of ongoing production

-Understanding of the digital space and trends that can impact the growth of the Institutional business (web tactics, email programs, video, Brainshark and mobile)

* Demonstrated understanding of business-to-business marketing

* Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

* Strong analytical, conceptual, and presentation skills

* Experience in both print and digital marketing

* Familiarity working for large organization and being a part of a global team with resources positioned globally

* Series 7 and 24 licenses preferred (or willingness to acquire)

* Highly motivated self-starter with strong examples of 'leadership' capabilities/strengths in facilitating projects, ability to determine priorities, plan, organize and follow through; overcoming obstacles and challenges (i.e. problem-solving experience)

* Strong consultative skills, coupled with a desire to meet client needs and exceed expectations

* Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in a written form with all levels of the organization

* Management of compliance oversight and coordination to ensure all materials adhere to established policies, procedures and control mechanisms in place for audit purposes

* Demonstrate strong attention to detail

* Experience in marketing to defined benefit/defined contribution plan sponsors or consultants is required

* Be flexible in managing multiple programs and projects while working in a constantly changing environment

* Experience working with cross-functional and multi-channel teams as well as the ability work with independent initiative to effectively promote marketing efforts

* A true team player, translating prior knowledge and experience into strong and productive relationships internally and externally
