PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

The Head of America's Marketing is responsible for planning, developing and implementation of America's marketing strategy and demand generation programs. This role will report to the Global Direct Marketing and will work in a global team structure. The America's marketing team will be supported by a global structure to enable them to be able to focus on developing relevant regional growth strategies and demand generation programs that assist in delivering the regional business results.

Key responsibilities;

* Maintain and provide strength to company's brand position in the region
* Lead a marketing team of regional and demand generation specialists to develop relevant programs to drive qualified opportunities in line with business priorities
* Present inputs to Product Marketing to define, maintain and validate product alternatives and configurations suitable for the region
* Involve actively in regional leadership team
* Implement global programs around social, content, digital, PR and brand in line with regional priorities
* Strategic planning including brand positioning, competitive analysis and customer regional approach and priorities for the region
* Partnering with Regional sales leader to develop and execute the appropriate marketing regional strategy that aligns to business priorities and objectives
* Accountable for the total marketingbudget and ROI targets for the region
* Create short- and long-term business goals and objectives to the SLT in the context of marketing strategy and implementation that align to our overall business strategy and objectives
* Responsible for creating, implementing and measuring the success of all marketing communications programs and activities that drive customer perception of SAI and deliver revenue opportunities to our saleschannels and deliver strong ROI
* The role is also responsible for all communications to existing customers to drive retention, and x-sell of products to meet churn and profitability objectives.
* Keep informed of developments in the field of Risk management plus best practice marketing, communications and demand generation
* Responsible for creating the best possible customer experience and reflecting the brand values in all customer sales touch points
* Responsible for overseeing all internal and external events both proprietary and non-proprietary
* Help make sure that the SAI Global philosophy, mission and vision are pertinent and practiced throughout the region

STRATEGY AND PLANNING

* Develop regional strategy that addresses business growth revenue requirements, the strategy includes

* Competitive differentiation
* Route to market
* Market insights
* Future product developments
* Offerings and bundles

* Deep collaboration with sales, product and delivery
* Provide Yearly regional strategy to relevant areas across marketing, sales and product and refresh quarterly to align with changing regional priorities determined by performance
* Source relevant marketing and customer insights and translate into regional market intelligence that will drive business strategy

OFFERINGS/BUNDLES

* Provide marketing insights and competitive analysis to our product teams to assist with current and future product development and bundling
* Source needs from our sales teams on potential product requirements and filter through to product teams
* Pull together the relevant people across product teams to work collaboratively around creation of offerings/bundles that meet client needs

ROUTE MARKET/PARTNERS

* Identify new routes to market to increase our reach across the target regional
* Identify key business partners to complement our solutions and offerings in partnership with product team
* Form official partnerships with selected organisations and formalize agreed partnership

COLLABORATION

* Excellent working relationships observed with Sales Marketing, and peers
* Collaborate across sales and product to meet the needs of our customer and provide them with marketing insights and competitive analysis to help drive better relevancy
* Work with Corporate brand team to ensure those disciplines are leveraged in the region appropriately

KPI'S/LEAD MANAGEMENT

* Ensure all marketing leads are being actioned
* Ensure that our marketingcampaigns are addressing all stages of the sales cycle when required
* Ensure all marketingcampaigns deliver upon the ROI targets set individually for each campaign and holistically across all marketing spend
* Accurate management, forecasting and reporting of monthly BPR

PLANNING

* Develop, manage and implement the Communications strategy planning process

* Work collaboratively with regional/product and sales teams to prioritise quarterly execution in line with business performance
* Prioritize work to ensure minimum overlap or stacking of campaigns for optimum effectiveness
* Document and communication campaign calendar to ensure that all relevant groups are informed
* Adapt as competitive landscape changes
* Maintain engagement and buy-in to marketing plan from Regional, and Sales

OVERSEEING MARKETING MESSAGE

Oversee all messaging, external and internal, to ensure that it is customer focused and aligns with brand guidelines

AGENCY RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

* Directly manages the relationship with Creative and Media Agencies in relation to process, administration and performance within the region
* Ensure strong working relationship with agencies that enables projects/campaigns to be delivered to timeline, within budget and meeting brief objectives
* Maximize efficiency and impact of Agency relationship
* Continually provide educations/insights to the agency to develop capabilities and knowledge around market opportunity

MAINTAINING EXCELLENT STAKEHOLDER RELATIONS

MANAGEMENT, FORECASTING (VIA COMMERCIAL TEAM) AND REPORTING OF ACQUISITION A&P BUDGET

Work jointly with our content manager to strategically position our content to support our brand pillars in the market place

EDUCATION/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing or related field

10+ years professional in B2B marketing

5+ years in leadership

Proven experience working alongside senior leaders

Expert in brand development and execution in B2B

Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills with a portfolio of online writing samples.

Experience in developing and implementation social media strategies in a B2B environment

Experience in public speaking

Technical knowledge of web applications, online community platforms and software and customer feedback tools.

Strong customer-service skills and a professional attitude.

Strong time-management and organization skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and responsibilities.

Excellent attention to detail, diligence to consistently follow up on open subjects in the community and an ability to complete tasks on time with little supervision.

Proved leadership capability in a high performance environment
