Headquartered in Houston, Texas, ConocoPhillipsResponsibilitiesTheHSE Coordinatormay include the following responsibilities:This position may include the promotion of business plan objectives as they apply to health and safety, health safety and environmental auditing, industrial hygiene evaluation, fire protection systems, vessel entry supervision, incident investigation facilitation, root cause analysis, training, safety improvement team participation, pre-startup reviews, emergency drill participation, and Health and Safety policy development.Position will support Transportation's Central Division (Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas)Basic/Required* Bachelor's degree * Legally authorized to work in the United States on a regular full-time basis without restrictions.* 3 years of direct experience of applicable Federal, State, and Local rules and regulations as they apply to occupational health and safety.* 3 years of direct experience with Hazwoper regulatory requirements and emergency response management. * TWIC card eligibility. Preferred* ASP/CSP/CIH certifications.* API Tank Entry Supervisor (TES) Certification (desirable).* Broad knowledge of Transportation equipment, facilities, and processes.* Effective presentation and team building skills as well as the ability to influence others.* Must be able to work well with all levels of the organization.* Ability to recognize hazards, assess risk and suggest an appropriate mitigation plan.* Ability to represent Transportation safety and health programs to outside agencies and organizations .In order to be considered for this position you must complete the entire application process, which includes answering all prescreening questions and providing your eSignature on or before the requisition closing date ofFebruary 17, 2012.Candidates for regular U.S. positions must be a U.S. citizen or national, or an alien admitted as permanent resident, refugee, asylee or temporary resident under 8 U.S.C. 1160(a) or 1255(a)(1).
