JOB DESCRIPTIONDevelop, conduct and document safety training on such topics as Chemical Hygiene, Hazard Communication, Biological Safety, Bloodborne Pathogens, General Safety, New Employee Safety orientation, etc.
Prepare policies, procedures and protocols pertaining to the facility s safety, health and environmental program. Review and comment on study designs and contract proposals to ensure appropriate health, safety and environmental considerations.
Conduct inspections and audits to assess compliance with company policy and applicable regulatory requirements.
Actively participate and oversee the Facility s Health and Safety Committee every quarter as a minimum or as needed.
Maintain active inventories of hazardous material and related MSDS s.
