Health and Wellness Director Pro Tem

Ideal candidate skills and experience... * Current Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse license * Alzheimer's and dementia experience is preferred. * Minimum of 3 years experience within assisted living, independent living or long term care nurse management. * Proven effective Management experience required. * Basic typing skills along with a working knowledge of personal computing and word processing software are required. * Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. * Ability to effectively communicate in English and understand and follow written and oral instructions. * Must have a valid driver license and access to a private vehicle for business use. * Must have the flexibility to travel across the State of Florida. HEALTH AND WELLNESS DIRECTOR PRO TEM ...as a Health and Wellness Director with Pro Tem responsibilities for the Florida Division, you will be assigned to a senior community that may be away from your home location for extended periods of time (normally Monday - Friday). Assignments to a senior community may occur during a staff vacancy, vacation, etc. The time frame of the assignments will vary greatly, based on the needs of each property. While assigned to a senior community, you will manage the day-to-day healthcare operations of the community to ensure resident's healthcare needs are met. Ensure residents are treated with respect and dignity and ensures quality care as resident's healthcare needs change. Responsible for the direct supervision of care giving and coordination of health care needs within the community. Provide training, supervision, and monitoring of associates. You will report to our Regional Nurse Consultant and work closely with our property based Executive Directors. Note that this is a full time permanent position with company benefits. You may also be required to travel for training and regional meetings and be available for some evenings and weekends and the availability to be on-call after hours. Location Territory includes independent living, assisted living and memory care communities in the Florida Division. Depending on location of assignment, overnight stays may be required. This position can be based anywhere in Florida!
