The Manager, Healthcare Advisory is responsible for assisting the Managing Director in developing the healthcare consulting and restructuring practice to provide crisis management, turnaround consulting and strategic advice to company owners, management, lenders, creditors and investors in the healthcare sector. This position combines the delivery of consulting services to healthcare clients with operational responsibility for managing the marketing, administrative and planning needs of this growing practice area.

- Responsible for operational assessments to identify client cost savings opportunities in the healthcare sector
- Manages the process to redesign activities to improve client operations, reduce costs and improve supply chain management
- Develops detailed implementation programs based on input from senior professionals
- Manages the engagement teams serving healthcare companies to develop business plans in conjunction with financial projections
- Engages in capital sourcing efforts on behalf of clients to complete refinancing or debtor-in-possession financing
- Manages the business development activities, including identifying opportunities for expansion of existing projects and identifying stand-alone and new business opportunities
- Responsible for preparing financial analysis, modeling and research and presents to clients
- Provides clients with implementation of solutions to business problems
- Other duties as required

Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Reviews work prepared by senior associates and associates and provides feedback
- Manages marketing, administrative and other professionals involved in outreach to healthcare clients

- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field required
- Advanced degree in Business preferred

- Five (5) or more years experience in consulting related to healthcare operations, finance or auditing required
- Financial or economic analysis, business valuation or public accounting experience preferred

- CPA, CIRA and/or CTP certification preferred

- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite required

Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and basic research skills related to the retrieval and organization of high volumes of information
- Solid organizational skills, especially the ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details
- Strong financial modeling skills
- Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently or within a group environment
- Ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm
- Capacity to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and client personnel
- Ability to encourage team environment on engagements and contribute to the professional development of assigned personnel
- Executive presence and ability to act as primary contact on assigned engagements
