This position will be located in Woodlawn MD\. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Health Information Technology portfolio\. The successful candidate will be able to work in a dynamic, energetic environment\. Multi\-tasking, time\-management, and customer relationship skills will be keys for success\.Role and Responsibilities:
The candidate will drive advancement of current and future automated solutions to implement Medicare quality programs related to physician quality reporting, value modifier, electronic health records, and alternative payment models\. Successful candidates will have a thorough understanding of Medicare quality reporting, value modifier, and EHR policies, quality metrics and reporting mechanisms, and claims data\. This SME should have a thorough understanding of statistical modeling techniques in the context of assessing cost and quality of Medicare providers performance, risk adjustment techniques, and specialty adjustment techniques\. This SME/lead will interact with CMS personnel, business analysts, researchers, and data modelers in implementing required functionality\. This position will require a high degree of customer interaction\.

* Responsibilities include:

* + Work with Medicare quality reporting and value modifier teams and clients to understand data and client needs+ Lead working groups with customers and other contractors to elicit and evaluate quality program reporting improvements and consolidations+ Provide recommendations to improve quality reporting data, policies, and future quality programs consolidation+ Train program staff on quality program policies, statistical data analysis and techniques+Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelors degree and 9 years of related experience\.+ Familiarity with healthcare programs, especially Medicare and Medicaid through direct work experience\.+ Working knowledge of Medicare quality reporting and value modifier polices\.+ Working knowledge of Medicare quality metrics including quality metrics reported through qualified clinical data registry \(QCDR\), HL7 Quality Reporting Document Architecture \(QRDA\), EHR, and Registry submission methods\.+ Knowledge of the Medicare FFS programs \(coverage, payment rules and regulation and claims process\)\.+ Experience in Healthcare policy and Legislation\.+ Statistical modeling, analytics, and data mining\.+ Ability to relate and discuss complex problem\-solving experiences\.+ Experience developing solutions throughout the Software Development Lifecycle\.+ Must be either a US Citizen or a Permanent Resident \(green card\) holder\.Preferred Qualifications:
+ Previous Experience working on CMS quality programs including the Physician Quality Reporting System, Value Modifier, Hospital Reporting, Accountable Care Organizations\.+ Experience with analytic software packages, such as SAS, R, or similar software\.+ Experience deriving requirements for large system development efforts\.+ Public relations experience such as working with physician groups, beneficiary organizationsNorthrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce\.
