JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Healthcare Recruiter is responsible for building relationships with candidates by understanding their goals, as well as, professional needs while promoting the value of working with our client facilities. This position will source and recruit per diem USA-domestic clinical staff for our new and emerging markets to fill short-term facility needs (both daily and local contract assignments). The recruiter will build a qualified candidate pool for Parallon clients through cold calling, referrals from our sourcing team, and other recruitment sources they have identified. Though based in our Sunrise FL office, this position requires some travel.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

- Effectively utilizes existing recruitment resources and develops new sources and contacts to identify and recruit high quality candidates
- Sources and screen candidates in accordance with the collaboratively developed recruitment plan
- Maintains awareness of markets to establish availability of personnel to fill position
- Sell candidates on the merits of employment with Parallon and our clients
- Uses creativity, communication and sales skills to best meet the needs of the candidate and hospitals
- Will provide information to the candidate concerning the position requirements, client hospital attributes and community offerings
- Utilizes effective interviewing techniques when interviewing candidates to ensure fit for the position
- Maintains communication with applicants to keep them active within the Parallon System
- Maintains and enters applicant information in applicant tracking system
- Manages the recruitment process for their defined territory
- Refers candidates to other divisions as appropriate

REQUIREMENTS:

- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Required; 2 year Associate Degree preferred
- 1-3 years of sales/production recruitment experience required, preferably with a healthcare staffing company
- Proven track record of success in sales/production recruiting environment
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities
- High level of proficiency with MS Office products including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Ability to work well independently and within a team environment
- Ability to travel as needed
