The Healthcare RM is an exciting opportunity to join the Commercial Banking team in Seattle. We're looking for a strong Commercial Banker with heavy experience within the Healthcare space, providing financing for hospitals and physicians and understands the Greater Seattle Market. Ideal candidates are looking for a long term opportunity to continue learning, growing and expanding their connections and Client relationships.
The Healthcare RM is responsible for attracting & developing new business, negotiating, underwriting and coordinating the closing of major and complex loans within the Healthcare industry.
Instrumental in ensuring timely and thorough monitoring of all credits through periodic reviews, continual analysis, and proper documentation. He/she will be well versed in credit analysis and understand how to structure a deal. (Credit Analysts and underwriters will support the RM, however, this person must understand credit and know when/when not to bring a deal to the table).
Builds relationships with existing Clients to maintain a strong referral pipeline.
Creates lists of prospective clients for sales leads.
Participates in business events that are sources for business contacts or referrals.
Solicits, develops, and services a wide variety of commercial loans and lines of credit, both secured and unsecured.
Meets with and interviews loan applicants to understand their businesses, needs, abilities, and earnings to determine whether the loan would be an acceptable risk.
Comes to conclusion and decides on loans and terms within established lending limits and/or makes recommendations.
Analyzes complex business transactions.
Reviews and monitors current loans and credit lines to ensure compliance with terms.
Oversees and provides direction to Credit Analysts in the development and analysis of financial background data for new or renewed loans; may perform credit analyst functions on occasion.
Provides clients appropriate and profitable financial solutions to their current and changing financial needs.
Strong knowledge of Treasury Management products.
Gives product demos to qualified customers for online banking and cash management products.
Must have at least 5 years of Relationship Management experience within Commercial Banking and have a strong COI within the Healthcare industry.
Credit Analysis experience. (Preferably formally credit trained).
MBA or advanced degree highly preferred.
Proven business development experience and current COI in the Greater Seattle market.
