In this role, the selected candidate will directly support the Field Marketing Manager in presentation development and summarizing analytics, insights and recommendations obtained throughout the strategic planning process. Support other key elements of the market planning process and assigned marketing initiatives. DESCRIPTION:Marketing & Strategy, Field Marketing Lead aligned to Cigna's Segment Marketing organization is responsible for coordinating the development of cross-segment local market business strategies and targeted execution of marketing strategies across a wide spectrum of programs and services which support the Segment portfolio across Individual/Exchange, Commercial and Seniors markets. This individual will drive marketing strategy to support the introduction of marketing activities by leveraging multi-channel approaches, as well as a test and learn process with the goal of increasing client engagement, acquisition, retention and improved overall satisfaction.Reporting to Field Marketing Management, this role requires a strong strategic mindset, ability to work with and influence functional business partners, cross-segment marketing and Centers of Excellence (CoE) partners, as well as an ability to operate in a dynamic, and sometimes ambiguous environment. Candidates will possess a strong business to business and partnership/co-marketing experience.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Strategic Business Plan development: Directly support the Field Marketing Manager in presentation development and summarizing analytics, insights and recommendations obtained throughout the strategic planning process. Support other key elements of the market planning process and assigned marketing initiatives.Develop and manage the execution of marketing plan initiatives to ensure successful implementation and desired results. Elements include investment opportunity analysis, Market Research, prospecting, direct to employer/distribution partner communications, event and sponsorships, and more.Support development of Marketing Communications strategy and execution of local market communications deliverables in assigned markets.Conduct baseline market assessment across all segments: competitor analysis, local market dynamics, market share, target segment needs assessment, sizing and segmentation, demographics, distribution channel analysis and regulatory scan.Identify metrics and measure return on investment for all marketing activities; capture learnings for continuous improvement. Demonstrate a strong test and learn discipline in solving business challenges. Understand competitive environment, including emerging trends, and work across the market leadership team to identify future opportunities. Coordinate process to collect and synthesize competitive information, keeping pulse on trends to inform our future strategy.
