If so, Modis has opportunities for you! br   br Presently, we have several needs for Desktop Technicians on a Contract to Hire basis.  This opportunity is scheduled to convert to a permanent position within the first 3 months of employment.   br B   /B br B Qualifications: /B br   br ul
li Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Equivalent Work Experience /li li Minimum of 2 years’ Experience with supporting, imaging and deploying pc's in an enterprise environment. /li li Experience supporting Outlook/MS Office and a variety of WiFi-enabled devices /li li Experience supporting remote users (VPN) /li li Experience with TCP/IP networking, and related network services (i.e. DNS, SMTP, DHCP, etc) /li li Experience with Active Directory concepts and administration /li li Experience working in a structured, process-driven environment /li li Exercise sound professional judgment and demonstrated problem solving ability. /li li Knowledge of VOIP telephony hardware and applications (Microsoft Lync). /li li Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in network and system troubleshooting and support. /li li Understanding of Firewall appliances and services /li /ul
  br B General Responsibilities /B : br   br ul
li Provides software and system troubleshooting, maintenance, support and resolve remotely, over the phone or at desk side /li li Installs, upgrades and configures applications,  software and related hardware (such as desktops, laptops, tablets, related peripherals such as printers, scanners, drives, monitors and video teleconferencing and software such as Windows OS and Office) /li li Provides technical support and training to end-users and internal IT analysts /li li Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology and recommends future growth hardware and software specifications. /li li Prepares activity reports as requested by management. /li li Travel to off-site programs up to 60% of the time. /li li Participates in special projects as required /li li Additional responsibilities as required /li /ul
