Main Function of the Job
IT Service Desk Support

Main Duties and Responsibilities
* To provide IT support and resolution of all types of incidents and requests reported to the IT Service Desk from a global customer base via email, phone and self-service.
* To provide navigational and operational help for a wide range of Barclays processes, procedures and IT systems.
* For all incidents and requests that cannot be immediately resolved, provides a timely an effective interface between users, support teams and service providers; ensuring that priority setting and escalation procedures are followed.
* Training of new Service Desk Analyst
* Ad Hoc Procedure Review / Creation
* Ad Hoc Metrics Reporting / Creation
* Ad Hoc Project Responsibilities
* Service Desk Tool Set Testing / Sign Off
* IT Service Desk Experience - Min 4-6 yrs. Progressive experience in a Financial Institution (Preferred), on a IT Service Desk
* Windows 7 Support Min 2-3 yrs. experience
* Remote Access Support / Citrix Min 2-3 yrs. experience
* Microsoft Office Suite support Min 2-3 yrs. experience
* Apple OS Support Min 2-3 yrs. experience
* IT Service Desk Experience - Min 4-6 yrs. Progressive experience in a Financial Institution (Preferred), on a IT Service Desk
* Windows 7 Support Min 2-3 yrs. experience
* Remote Access Support / Citrix Min 2-3 yrs. experience
* Microsoft Office Suite support Min 2-3 yrs. experience
* Apple OS Support Min 2-3 yrs. experience
* Active Directory Administration Min 2-3 yrs. experience
* Ticketing System entry experience Min 3-5 yrs. experience (Service Now Preferred)
* High Volume Support Centre experience handling 25- 40 calls daily - min 4-6 yrs. Experience
* A + Certification
* Net + Certification
* HDI Support Centre Analyst (HDI-SCA) Certification
* ITIL Foundations V3 Certification
