li Provides technical support to users for computer-related technical problems on assigned account(s). /li li Provides back-up assistance on other accounts as needed. /li /ul
  br B Essential Job Functions: /B br ul
li Answers help desk telephones and responds to basic customer inquiries to ensure customer needs are met. /li /ul
li Assists customers in resolving basic technical problems by providing scripted guidance regarding software and hardware problems. Resolves and/or refers more complex technical problems through a defined escalation process. /li li Logs and tracks inquiries using a problem management database and maintains history records and related problem documentation. /li li Identifies, evaluates, and prioritizes customer problems and complaints to ensure that inquiries are resolved appropriately. /li /ul
  br B Basic / Required Qualifications : /B br ul
li High school diploma or G.E.D. /li li One or more years of technical training in computer support /li li Experience working with company products and operating systems /li li Experience with solving computer-related problems /li li Experience with company escalation policy /li li One or more years of experience with MS Office 2003+, Outlook, Windows XP/Vista/7, Active Directory, /li /ul
B   /B br B Strongly Desired Skills : /B br ul
li One or more years of technical or customer support experience /li li One or more years of government or financial institution experience /li li Technical experience with computer systems, peripherals, smartphones, remote resolution, networking, VPN /li li One or more years of experience with Remedy, Lotus Notes 8+, SAP, Remote Desktop, Mainframes, Internet Browsers (other than IE) /li /ul
