We are looking for someone who welcomes the ability to multitask and solve user desktop support problems to ensure great employee satisfaction. br   br 6 - 12 Month Contract to Hire. br   br Job Duties: br • Provides technical support to users for computer-related technical problems on br assigned account(s). Provides back-up assistance on other accounts as needed. br • Answers help desk telephones and responds to basic customer inquiries to ensure br customer needs are met. br • Assists customers in resolving basic technical problems by providing scripted br guidance regarding software and hardware problems. Resolves and/or refers more br complex technical problems through a defined escalation process. br • Logs and tracks inquiries using a problem management database and maintains history br records and related problem documentation. br • Identifies, evaluates, and prioritizes customer problems and complaints to ensure that br inquiries are resolved appropriately. br • Maintains a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring clear business and technical br solution alignment, clarifying customer needs and ensuring that they are met. br   br Requirements: br • High school diploma or G.E.D. required. br o College degree is a plus. br • One or more years of technical training in computer support. br • Experience working with company products and operating systems br • Experience with solving computer-related problems. br • One or more years’ experience with MS Office 2003+, Outlook, Windows XP/Vista/7, br Active Directory. br • Experience with company escalation policy. br • One or more years of technical or customer support experience. br • One or more years’ experience with Remedy, Lotus Notes 8+, SAP, Remote Desktop, br Mainframes, and Internet Browsers (other than IE). br • Technical experience with computer systems, peripherals, smartphones, remote br resolution, networking, VPN. br • Background check and drug test required. br   br This Help Desk Technician Job in Coppell, TX must be filled as soon as possible!
