Vital Professional Services is seeking a Help Desk/Desktop Support Specialist Tier 3 for one of our key clients in Roseville, CA. Our client has multiple locations in the area and there is ample opportunity to grow and expand. If you are a personable and technically strong Help Desk/Desktop Support Specialist this may be the right fit for you.
Assists end users in resolving hardware and software issues by fielding telephone calls, email communication, and tickets. Diagnoses problems and performs troubleshooting activities. Develops escalation and resolution procedures and ensures service desk personnel adhere to these procedures. Trains, coaches, mentors, and helps manage service desk personnel. Relies on extensive knowledge and professional discretion to achieve goals. Usually reports to a department head. Significant ingenuity and flexibility is expected. Manages others and has some authority for personnel actions.
* 5 to 7 years of Help Desk or Desktop Support
* Experience managing lower level Desktop Support positions
* Windows Environment
* Microsoft Software and instillation
* Organized and experienced with ticketing systems and procedures
* Have supported up to 100 people in a Help Desk role
* Excellent communication and Customer Service skills (Top Requirement)
* Good Documentation skills
