HOME HEALTH AIDE TRAINING CLASS.
Samaritan Health is looking for compassionate, caring and dedicated individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in Healthcare as a Home Health Aide. Samaritan Summit Village our newest Assisted Living Nursing Facility is excited to announce a Home Health Aide training program that will begin Monday October 17th. This 4-week program will require a time commitment of approximately 40 hours per week. The selected students will be required to pass a drug screening, health assessment as well as a background check and reference screening. High School Diploma or GED is required and a copy of your immunization records is required as well. Classes will be held from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm Monday through Friday for 4 weeks. At the successful completion of the program and State exam, students will be entered into the NYS Home Health Aide Registry and be eligible to apply to our part-time Home Health Aide openings and work at our new Samaritan Summit Village-Assisted Living Facility. As a Home Health Aide employee of Samaritan Summit Village, you must be able to work Any shift and pass medication to residents. Samaritan Summit Home Health Aides do NOT drive to clients homes; they work directly at the facility.
