Full-Time Home Health and Hospice Clinical Manager!

Coverage: Utah and Juab Counties


The Home Health and Hospice Clinical Manager ensures the quality of the staff and services in the Home Health program by organizing and directing the agency s day-to-day clinical functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Make home visits to provide skilled nursing services, and to teach and supervise other nurses.

* Coordinate home health services and assist the Director in the day-to-day operations and decisions of the agency.

* Hire, assign, supervise, and evaluate Registered Nurses.

* Oversee the functions, activities, and evaluations of all healthcare personnel.

* Responsible for the orientation and in-service education for all healthcare personnel.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLSETS:

* Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university.

* Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in this state.

* Minimum 2 years experience in home health as an RN.

* Minimum 2 years experience in a nurse supervisor capacity in a healthcare setting.

* Knowledge and competence in the aspects of personal Care Aide training.

* Work independently without supervision.

* Use good judgment in difficult situations.

* Problem solve effectively.

* Possess personal sensitivity to the needs and experiences of others and a non-judgmental attitude towards persons of differing standards, values, lifestyles, and ages.
