Once in this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire billing and collection process for government payor groups (Medicare and Medicaid). Additionally, you will supervise a team of 10 -15 employees and ensure all claims are processed and balanced in full by the respective deadlines.  The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of relevant hospital management experience and be familiar with billing/collecting for managed care claims. The pay for this position ranges between $60,000 and $90,000, depending on experience. br   br Job Description: br • Coordinates with other Central Business Office (CBO) Managers to ensure consistency in execution of directives from Government Director br • Ensures the quality of the work performed by the staff; provides quality reviews and communicate results to staff monthly br • Actively monitors CMS and TMHP updates/alerts/releases and implements appropriate operational changes to accommodate new state and federal billing rules and practices br • Ensures operational billing and collections compliance with government/regulatory agencies and the Medicare and Medicaid program. This can include Internal Audit, Business Practices, HIM, PAS, and Utilization Review, etc. br • Makes all hiring and disciplinary decisions in accordance with HR policy br • Conducts periodic staff meetings to communicate results, new ideas, opportunities and training issues br • Communicates to staff in a clear, effective, and timely manner br • Models performance expectations of excellence (i.e., demonstrates behavior which sets the example for the staff to follow) br • Conducts staff’s annual performance evaluation br • Seek ways to optimize cash collections and streamline operations throughout the CBO br • Participates and presents in Revenue Cycle forums br   br Qualifications: br • 6 years of HOSPITAL management experience, required br • BA, required br • Experience managing team of 10+ staff br • EPIC and Excel proficiency, preferred br • Must understand full-cycle process of both billing and collections departments br • Must understand Medicare, Medicaid, and other government funded payor groups br   br If you are interested in this Hospital Manager position, or other similar opportunities available through Ajilon Professional Staffing, please submit your resume today!
