JOB DESCRIPTIONThis position serves as the primary point of contact for managers for the recruitment and selection of applicants to fill a broad range of nursing positions and nursing related positions ranging from high level management positions (e.g. Nursing Director, Nurse Manager, APN) licensed patient care positions, many of which are deemed hard-to-fill. Responsibilities encompass the entire Nursing recruitment process from marketing, cold-calling, sourcing, interviewing, site visits, checking references, follow-up, to pre-boarding and on-boarding of the licensed and non licensed patient care related positions.
1.Bachelor's degree. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered in addition to minimum years' of experience.
2.Minimum three or more years of current direct experience in the recruitment in a healthcare. environment required, coupled with a proven record in executive recruiting skills.
3.Participation in an HR professional organization at time of hire or within 6 months (e.g. PHR/SPHR, AIRS Certified Recruiter, NW Recruiter Association, ERE, SCAHCR, NAHCR Certified Recruiter).
4.Highly experienced in all aspects of candidate prospecting to include: cold calls, job board mining, research, associations/organization involvement, and networking.
5.Experience with handling confidential matters and information.
6.Working knowledge of current best practices in employment and recruitment.
7.Working knowledge of regulations, statutes and laws related to recruitment and employment.
8.Interviewing skills to quickly and accurately assess an individual's qualifications for a position.
9.Technical skills sufficient to effectively use MS Word, Excel, applicant tracking systems, internet sourcing systems.
10.Ability to build comprehensive account management recruitment plans and sourcing strategy plans, clarify required job skills and competencies with Hiring Managers.
11.Experience consulting with Hiring Managers on compensation/offers, market trends, sourcing challenges, behavioral interviewing, and recruiting process expectations, accountabilities and service level.
12.Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
