Tasting Room Associate

Adecco is seeking a personable, professional hospitality candidates to work in the tasting room!

The Tasting Room Associate upholds Winery philosophy of quality, elegance and exceptional customer service by working as part of a successful Visitor Center team. This person conveys in a passionate and intellectually compelling manner--the image, style and values of the winery. The Tasting Room Associate ensures that all guests are treated to an unequalled presentation of fine wines, technical expertise, and uncompromised courtesy.

In addition to welcoming guest, the right candidate will need to sell wine and wine club membership, pour wines, and engage with guests, answer questions and more. Knowledge of local wineries, hotels and restaurants is a must.
Skills: Ability to read, write and speak at or above collegiate levels. Candidates must have an excellent sense of smell, taste, sight, hearing, and good hand-eye coordination. Demonstrate a “can-do” and success driven approach to duties and responsibilities to inspire and motivate successful team work. Formal table set up for lunch, dinner, and special events for Winery. Refined sales and public relations skills. Advanced and comprehensive wine knowledge.

Physical: Ability to speak to a large group without amplification a minimum of 4 hours. Ability to work on feet for at least 8 hours. Ability to lift and stack wine cases (forty pounds per case) by hand and handcart. Ability to travel by sea/land/air for significant periods and be able to work in all weather conditions/temperatires.

Other:
Must possess a valid California driver's license and have formal dress attire.

Other Preferred Job Qualifications: Competency in speaking and writing in a foreign language.
