Reports to: Chief Executive Officer & Chief Operating Officer Main Goal: The General Manager (GM) is responsible in supervising all overall hotel operations, sales and marketing, and fiscal operations for the hotel. Duties are fully encompassing of all business operations, with major functions including, but not limited to: physical asset management and upkeep, budgeting; cost analysis; payroll and staffing guide control and compliance; sales activities and booking policies; yield management in manners that maximize revenues and profit; motivation and retaining associates; communications with management company and ownership group; and any other duties required for the day-to-day management and oversight consistent with the expectations of a first class, five star, property.
