Also included is Personal Holiday "Floating" for your off Holiday schedule AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Manages the day to day operations of the housekeeping with an emphasis and knowledgeable in guestroom standards and also skilled knowledge in laundry and public areas for assigned shifts. Participates in the development and implementation of processes, procedures, and standards for the department which support the achievement of service and financial goals. Inspects guestrooms to Hilton standards Determines appropriate staffing levels for forecasted business and schedules team members accordingly. Implements processes for providing team members with customer service, technical and safety training on a continual basis. Tracks inventory and purchasing for the department. Prepares purchase orders based on need and budgetary allowance. Accurately prepares departmental payroll. Performs administrative duties including but not limited to; creating/updating tracking for projects, team member appraisals, updating of job descriptions, corrective action, PAFs. Communicates performance expectations and provides team members with ongoing feedback. Provides team members with coaching and counseling as needed to achieve performance objectives. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to sit for long periods of time (typically 25' of shift). Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. (typically 75' of shift). Ability to bend, reach, and twist while using various pieces of office equipment, retrieving supplies, or packing amenities, or assisting housekeeping staff with their duties. Finger dexterity to use computer keyboard and filing Ability to lift push and pull carts of linen weighing 150 pounds to fold. Able to use cleaning chemicals and knowledgable in SDS Complianceknowledgeable
