Housekeeping Manager

The Hampton Inn & Suites Elliston Place , is looking for a dynamic individual to join this hotels leadership team. The Housekeeping Manager is the head of the Housekeeping Department. HeShe is responsible for the overall cleanliness, detailing, servicing, resources, care and maintenance of all guest rooms and public areas within the Hotel. Manage, control and operate within the budget for maximum performance. Insure proper inventory of all linens needed for guestrooms. Insure proper inventories of all guest supplies, cleaning supplies, laundry supplies and equipment. Properly schedule associates to provide coverage per forecasts. Train all housekeeping aides and Laundry attendants to their functions. Inspect rooms and public space on a daily basis. Insure proper operation of the lost and found process returning items to guests as soon as possible. Schedule and maintain an efficient general clean program. Carries out leadership responsibilities in accordance with the companys policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing and hiring associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems
