The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for planning,
organizing, developing and directing the overall
operation of the Housekeeping Department in accordance
with current federal, state, and local standards,
guidelines and regulations governing our facility, and
as may be directed by the CEO or Ops Director, to ensure
that our facility is maintained in a clean, safe and

8. Poss ess the ability to seek out new methods and
principles and be willing to incorporate them into
existing activity programs.
9. Must be in good standing with the Federal Government.
10. Have an obligation to inform your supervisor if you
are on any government exclusion list.
One-year experience in housekeeping in hospital
environment a must.
Experience in identifying and working with cleaning
products and equipment preferred.
Exposure to psychiatric patients who may exhibit
violent/aggressive behavior. Potential for exposure to
communicable diseases, blood/body fluids and other
Physical Requirements: Standing, walking, stooping,
bending, turning, lifting, walking.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision. May be
required to work overtime and flexible hours. / p
