PREPARE SUBJECTS FOR SCANNING

1. EDUCATE SUBJECTS ON STUDY PROCEDURES AND OBTAIN INFORMED CONSENT.

2. TEACH SUBJECTS SCANNING PROCEDURES AND FUNCTIONAL MRI TASKS. OUR FUNCTIONAL MR IMAGING IS AN INTERACTIVE PROCESS IN WHICH THE SUBJECT OR PATIENT PERFORMS A COMPUTERIZED TASK AND PROVIDES EXPERIMENTAL FEEDBACK. PATIENTS MUST BE TRAINED TO PERFORM THE NEEDED LANGUAGE, MEMORY AND NAVIGATION TASKS. AND TO USE THE MR SAFE INPUT DEVICES BEFORE IMAGING.

12. Ability to operate and troubleshoot Siemens MRI System. All tasks, required.

13. Ability to administer neuropsychological tests as necessary. All tasks, required.

14. Ability to use Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, and Microsoft PowerPoint in preparation of research diagrams and presentations. Preferred
