span Human Resources Director - Milwaukee, WI-11121024 br   br Human Resource Director br Job Summary: br The Human Resource Director is responsible for the overall management of the human resource processes and practices within an assigned region, providing counsel on procedure and policy interpretation; retention strategies and employee relations issues, and Federal, state and local employment laws. He/she operates with sufficient independence to ensure objectivity and fairness for employees while working closely as a trusted Director with all the field leadership located across his/her assigned region.  This position will advise location leadership in all administrative processes and procedures and coordinate activities with the Centers of Excellence and the business Director of HR.  This position will be an integral role in aligning the people and culture to support our business goals and objective for increased growth and profitability. br   br Qualifications br   br Primary Duties / Responsibilities: br • Model professional behavior that demonstrates the values in areas of responsibility, solidarity, respect, innovation and customer focus.   br • Develops and coordinates learning and development plans to transfer knowledge and provide career growth br • Fosters a positive, diverse and inclusive culture through education, communication, and initiatives br • Ensures HR is providing customer-oriented service to the business including talent management and organizational effectiveness br • Manages programs, policies, and procedures to support the organizational culture br • Coaches managers and others to achieve maximum potential br • Facilitates performance management through coaching, systems and processes. br • Conducts assessments to identify issues and partners with managers to implement solutions br • Communicates and applies policy and procedures across organization and recommends changes to support business needs br • Conducts investigations of workplace policy violations and mediates difficult employee relations issues br • Serves as a team leader for organizational initiatives and implements change br • Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting with managers to discuss needs br • Gathers and reports HR metrics including key performance indicators to assess and improve HR service br   br Qualifications: br Education / Experience Background br • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline required br • 10+ years of HR related work experience required, 5 years strategic experience in a multi-building/region capacity preferred br • Experience with rapid and complex changing work environments br • Demonstrated stakeholder management skills coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to effectively interact with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership br • Demonstrated understanding of effective human resource management and support of a business, including strong consultative, interpersonal, analytical and communication skills, as well as, strong time management, and organization skills br • Experience staffing professional and unskilled/semi-skilled workers br • Must be outgoing and self-motivated with a strong desire to excel and build a first in class workforce br • High level knowledge of applicant tracking systems br   br Knowledge Skills / Ability Characteristics br • Ability to act as a strategic partners to organization-wide and re
