Summary:



Works under the Director of Human Resources to assist in various aspect of the Human Resource field.



Job Duties and Function:





*

Act as a point person for recruiting for both candidates and hiring managers



*

Own day-to-day management and reporting function of HRIS system



*

Assist with employee relations issues, including terminations, and escalates as necessary



*

Handle annual reporting requirements for EEO and ACA



*

Handle workers' compensation claims



*

Stay updated with employment law and changes that affect the company, shares updates with HR team, and assists in creation of policies and procedures



*

Conduct employee exit interviews



*

Track and review new employee and manager feedback



*

Provide coaching to junior HR staff



*

Administer leave of absence processes

Summary of Requirements





*

PHR / SHRM-CP certification required



*

Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred



*

Proficiency in HRIS software



*

Microsoft Office proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook



*

Attention to detail and accuracy



*

Strong customer service skills



*

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)



*

Strong organizational skills



*

Ability to be a team player



*

Ability to meet deadlines



*

Ability to prioritize



*

Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment

Ability to maintain confidentiality around sensitive situations

Experience working with a union bargaining agreement preferred



*

Understanding of the Service Contract Act (SCA), Davis Bacon Act, and Ledbetter Act preferred



* Pass Evergreen's standard of a clean driving record

*

Pass a pre-employment background investigation and federal-class drug screen



*

Pass random background investigations and federal-class drug screens for as required by the ownership and company policy



*

Be eligible for a top secret security clearance that may be required on a site-specific basis
