Works under general supervision of the Director of Human Resources. The recruiter position is responsible for interviewing, testing, and referring applicants for clerical, technical, administrative, and management positions throughout the company. This position requires considerable skill in interviewing techniques, a good knowledge of all clerical and specialized functions in the company, a basic understanding of the company's organizational structure as well as an extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
Job Duties and Functions:
Partner with hiring manager to determine staffing needs.
Screen resumes, interview candidates (by phone or in person), administer appropriate assessments, reference/background checking, make recommendations for hire (or not hire) and deliver employment offers for both exempt and non-exempt position openings within an assigned territory.
Develop advertising programs (internal and external) in order to ensure high visibility with potential candidates.
Manage internal transfer process including screening, coordination of interview with hiring manager, transfer offer letter, etc.
Follow up with candidates and hiring managers to ensure updated information on the interview process status.
Communicate important employment information during delivery of employment offers (i.e. benefits, compensation, non-competition agreements, etc.).
Manage current candidate activity in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Manage application/resume file and retention according to company policy.
Maintain memberships and affiliations with trade/professional organizations related to industry.
Maintain management staff calendars to include meetings and travel arrangements.
Maintain confidentiality at all times.
* All other duties as assigned and related to your qualifications as assigned by management team of the company
Experience and Skills:
* Can pass a background check and drug screen
* Valid enhanced Drivers Licenses
* 2 years minimum of recruiting experience
* Associates Degree or higher
