A Human Resources Business Partner with Hilton Grand Vacations is responsible for managing the Human Resources function for Resort Operations for one or multiple properties handling personnel issues impacting day-to-day business decisions ranging from employee relations, benefits and compensation, records retention and compliance needs. Specifically, you would be responsible for the following: * Maintains a positive employment environment which includes selective hiring, orientation, and the coordination/implementation of management, non-management training and development programs. Works with local management and the General Manager in resolving employee relations issues. Consults with management on disciplinary actions, including coaching and counseling of employees. * Responsible for the administration, security, confidentiality, and retention of personnel files. Inputs all required information into HRIS including new hires, terminations, salary changes, personal changes and promotions. Ensures compliance with all government regulations (EEO, INS, ADA, FMLA, ADEA, OSHA, etc.) and all Federal and State employment laws. Administers and maintains affirmative action plans. * Work with Corporate Compensation and Benefits, manages the enrollment and maintenance of Group Health Insurance for employees (Explains insurance benefits and answers questions). Assists the Compensation and Benefits team with the development of compensation packages for new positions and maintains updated job descriptions. Works with local management team in monitoring workers compensation claims and temporary modified duty situations. * Conducts Employee Opinion Surveys and assists with feedback sessions and action planning. Ensures consistency in the application and enforcement of policies and procedures. Conducts an annual Human Resources review with each Department Head to assess Human Resources needs and establishes a local HR strategy and implements action plans as needed Currently, Hilton Grand Vacation is a subsidiary of Hilton. We presently anticipate that, at some point in 2016, Hilton Grand Vacations will be spun off from Hilton and become an independent, public company.
