JOB DESCRIPTION
The position is the primary interface for people managers by supporting managers through consultative Human Resources activities and aligned to a specific geography / region.KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Consult with people managers on Humans Resources campaigns and annual processes
* Provide manager coaching on employee relations
* Support managers through performance issues & plans
* Develop managers through up-skilling and training
* Ensure legal compliance (AAP, EEO, Vets-100, etc)
* Conduct exit interviews and support managers through termination process
* Provide local site support (i.e., employee engagement activities, company program support, local terminations, etc)
* Responsible for policy governance

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor degree in business with a focus on Human Resources and at least 5 years experience in Human Resources with a focus on employee relations, performance management, policy governance and manager coaching
* Certification preferred: PHR or SHRM-CP
* Strong knowledge of federal & state labor law
* Extensive working knowledge of employee relations principles, practices, and procedures
* Ability to conduct investigations, analyze data, and determine recommendations and action plans
* Proven ability to exercise judgment and discretion in handling confidential matters
* Strong influencing skills
* Ability to resolve conflicts and diffuse employee-related issues, concerns, and situations
* Strong customer service skills
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
* Advanced skills using Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
