Position Overview
Brief Description
To assist and support the Human Resources Department in
areas focused around recruiting, employee relations,
data integrity and management, policy review and
revisions and total associate engagement. This position
will report to the Human Resources Manager and is
located in Downers Grove, Illinois.
Key Accountabilities
* Participates in the recruiting process by opening
requisitions, posting jobs, setting up interviews,
conducting reference checks and assisting in the new
hire on-boarding process.
* Assists with the implementation, and assures the
integrity of HR policies and initiatives
* Provides answers to general HR questions for
employees
* Creates and maintains HR related spreadsheets and
metrics
* Updates employment data into HRIS
* Assists in payroll issues
* Assists with employee relations and disciplinary
issues
* Creating and managing the logistics of Total
Associate Engagement Events
* Other projects as required and assigned
Desirable Experience, Capabilities and Success Factors
* Requires an associate's degree in a related area
with a minimum of 2 years of experience preferably
in a manufacturing environment
* Excellent customer service skills
* Attention to detail
* High integrity, professionalism and confidentiality
* Strong organization and time management skills
* Ability to work in both team and individual settings
* Strong problem solving skills
* Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint &
Outlook)
* Ability to handle multiple tasks and fast paced

* Ability to operate office machines, i.e., copier,
fax, etc.
* English speaking with a good knowledge of English
grammar and punctuation
