Human Resources Director:
The Biological Sciences Division (BSD) Human Resources Office provides leadership and oversight in all aspects of staff human resources for the Biological Sciences Division (BSD). Reporting to the Assistant Dean and Executive Director of BSD HR, the HR Director will provide high-level oversight and input to divisional projects and priorities including overseeing projects, practices and programs that support the BSD HR mission. S/he will implement standardized practices across the division in accordance with our existing HR AOP. The HR Director is critical in providing oversight to the HR team by effectively coordinating resources to successfully implement key HR initiatives that complement divisional priorities. The HR initiatives span a wide-variety of topics such as those related to strategy, compensation, employee relations, leadership development, talent management, organizational effectiveness, communication planning and change management. The HR Director has the responsibility for performing a wide-range of generalist functions for the executive leaders of the Dean's Office. The HR Director will work closely and collaboratively with the BSD HR team to promptly address operational and business needs. S/he will provide oversight and drive BSD HR initiatives, excellence, and process improvement across key HR practices. The incumbent will partner with divisional HRPs, UCMC HR, University HR, and BSD leaders when appropriate and necessary to support divisional goals.
