JOB DESCRIPTION* 5+ years technical manufacturing at a site level in progessive Human Resources
* 10-20 years of total Human Resources Experience
* 5+ years of people leadership experience
* Experience in navigating quality, compliance, regulatory requirements and audit procedures
Directs all HR-related activities and programs for the assigned site, managing internal and external resources in multiple HR functions. Develops and advocates new programs and directs their implementation upon approval. Interfaces with management at all levels in order to understand and address any HR-related areas of concern. Directs the development of HR policies as needed. In conjunction with the Executive Director, Human Resources, TechOps and Quality, participates in strategic cross-functional project teams to address and implement Corporate polices and processes.
Responsible for implementing operational and strategic policies and directives.
Partners with management to develop functional processes for client groups.
Interfaces with senior management to report on project and program milestones and to present project needs.
Supports key functional areas within HR including but not limited to recruiting and selection, re-tention, employee development, employee relations, and performance management.
Helps develop, deploy, and drive company-wide programs designed by the Executive and HR Leadership Teams.
Accountable for providing alignment at the functional level to identify efficiencies, provide consistency, streamline processes, methodologies, and practices in the area of Human Resources.
Facilitate conflict resolution between employees and managers, employee-to-employee, as required.
Oversee and/or conduct and document investigations and assist management with resolutions.
Primary liaison for client groups on day-to-day issues.
Member of the site Leadership Team, responsible for representing HR for the site.
Manages site HR staff. Ensures development, engagement and retention of staff.
Other duties as assigned.
Education: Minimum of a BS/BA in related area
* PHR/SPHR certification preferred
* Experience in a regulated, manufacturing environment. Pharmaceutical experience a plus.
