Our client is a 200-employee division of a privately held manufacturing company with a long history of growth and impressive financial results. The non- union work environment is vibrant, empowering, and results oriented. Reporting to the Division President with one generalist as support, this position is best suited to a hybrid executive who can "think strategically and act tactically." Key areas of responsibility include:
Leadership - Leverage knowledge and expertise to align HR strategy with overall business strategy and assist in creating a culture where both individual and team goals can be achieved.Build strong relationships and actively collaborate with the leadership team to challenge the status quo and improve the business.
Organizational Development - Champion positive employee relations that promote employee engagement and maintain a union free work environment. Contribute to strategic planning and assist with organizational changes to get the right people in the right roles.
Talent Management - Own the hiring process and implement recruiting strategies to identify and attract top talent.Create comprehensive onboarding processes and provide training initiatives to support the professional growth and career development of employees, as well as the long term human capital needs of the business.
Performance Excellence - Partner with corporate HR to oversee the performance management system and administer total rewards programs. Provide ongoing coaching and counseling to help managers anticipate and address employee related issues and proactively manage employee performance to achieve organizational excellence.
Compliance - Keep abreast of employment laws and ensure all HR policies, procedures and practices are in full compliance with government regulations.Maintain employee records and support the implementation of the new corporate HRIS.
The ideal candidate is a dynamic HR leader with at least 10years of broad generalist experience in a manufacturing environment. Bachelor's degreerequired and graduate degree or SPHR certification desired. Outstanding communications skills with an open and trustworthy interpersonal style are essential. We are looking for an individual who is intuitive and insightful, able to read people well, and provide good counsel to the leadership team. He or she must possess broad business acumen and a strategic orientation, yet also be very comfortable with the hands-on aspects of tactical HR work. Intelligence, energy, courage, grit, passion, respect for others, unwavering integrity (and a bit of humor!) are all important attributes.
The compensation range is targeted at $120K to $150K with base salary and attractive bonus plus outstanding benefits. Relocation assistance will also be provided.
