Job Description
Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world s leading international law firms is seeking a Human Resources Generalist residing in San Francisco, reporting to the Manager, Human Resources Business Partner.

Responsibilities

Policy and procedure interpretation with assistance from the Manager, Human Resources Business Partner.
Works with Manager, Human Resources Business Partner to ensure Firm s policies and procedures are applied consistently and fairly
Counsels departmental and/or practice group management on performance management and disciplinary matters; refers issues to HR Director/Manager when appropriate
Investigates complaints; elevates issues as appropriate.
Conducts exit interviews as assigned.
Serves as benefits liaison for all populations; is well-versed about all benefit plans
Manages local office open enrollment process in coordination with Firm Benefits
Oversees the local HRIS function within the scope of responsibilities
Performs other duties as assigned. This may include planning local office events, responding to UC claims, and other Firmwide projects.

Experience
Bachelor s Degree and a minimum of five years of relevant experience, preferably in a professional services environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including grammar)
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to balance competing demands.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work with all levels of management and staff.
Strong technical skills (i.e., Microsoft Office, HRIS systems) are also preferred.
