span Do you have experience in Human Resources?  Then start a rewarding career as a B Human Resources (HR) Generalist/ Human Resources (HR) Manager /B .  You will be working for a leading worldwide association and heading up an HR team of one.  You will be participating in instrumental initiatives to help grow the business and drive success.   You will analyze human resources data and carry out responsibilities in recruiting, employee relations, compensation, benefits, payroll, training, employment law, safety, affirmative action, and employment equity programs. The job is located in Glenview, IL.  As our ideal candidate, you will have a minimum of three years of experience in human resources and have obtained your Bachelor’s Degree.  You will receive a competitive salary and benefits package.   br   br As a B Human Resources (HR) Generalist/ Human Resources (HR) Manager /B your job duties will include, but not limited to: br ul
li Advise employees and managers on HR related policies, programs, and procedures.   /li li Maintain employee records and handle all administrative tasks within the department. /li li Full cycle payroll for the company within ADP Workforce Now and Time & Attendance. /li li Investigate and resolve employee relations issues.   /li li Coach supervisors and managers on handling employee issues.   /li li Administer and manage compensation and performance management systems. /li li Provide benefits administration of medical, dental, life insurance, pension, etc.   /li li Analyze the need to update or change benefit plan designs to remain competitive in the market, while gauging the financial impact to the company. /li li Assist with recruitment: source candidates, pre-screen, scheduling of interviews, administer and evaluate applicant tests, perform background checks, conduct reference checks, preparation of offer letters, etc. /li li Maintain accurate job descriptions for all staff. /li li Prepare and maintain employee handbook. /li li Perform new hire orientation and onboarding of new hires. /li li Perform presentations on HR compliance topics to ensure the company is in adherence with HR policies, procedures, and programs.   /li li Identify and arrange training needs for employee development.   /li li Research effectiveness of HR programs and propose improvement to policies, programs, and procedures to improve human resources effectiveness and operations.   /li li Implement approved or revised HR policies.   /li li Maintain employee files and compile reports concerning data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, attendance, etc. /li li Conduct exit interviews. /li /ul
  br B You are the perfect person if you have: /B br ul
li Bachelor’s Degree, a PHR or SPHR certification is highly preferred. /li li Three years of experience in human resources generalist functions: recruiting, employee relations, compensation, benefits, payroll, training, employment law, safety, affirmative action, and employment equity programs.   /li li Ability to work in an HR team of one supporting an office of fifty employees.   /li li Must be proficient with MS Office and have the ability to run benefits, payroll and HR reports. /li li Experience utilizing ADP Workforce Now and Time & Attendance is highly preferred.   /li li Ability to be self-directed and motivated to execute
