li Advise employees and managers on HR related policies, programs, and procedures. /li li Maintain employee records and handle all administrative tasks within the department. /li li Full cycle payroll for the company within ADP Workforce Now and Time & Attendance. /li li Investigate and resolve employee relations issues. /li li Coach supervisors and managers on handling employee issues. /li li Administer and manage compensation and performance management systems. /li li Provide benefits administration of medical, dental, life insurance, pension, etc. /li li Analyze the need to update or change benefit plan designs to remain competitive in the market, while gauging the financial impact to the company. /li li Assist with recruitment: source candidates, pre-screen, scheduling of interviews, administer and evaluate applicant tests, perform background checks, conduct reference checks, preparation of offer letters, etc. /li li Maintain accurate job descriptions for all staff. /li li Prepare and maintain employee handbook. /li li Perform new hire orientation and onboarding of new hires. /li li Perform presentations on HR compliance topics to ensure the company is in adherence with HR policies, procedures, and programs. /li li Identify and arrange training needs for employee development. /li li Research effectiveness of HR programs and propose improvement to policies, programs, and procedures to improve human resources effectiveness and operations. /li li Implement approved or revised HR policies. /li li Maintain employee files and compile reports concerning data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, attendance, etc. /li li Conduct exit interviews. /li /ul

li Bachelor’s Degree, a PHR or SPHR certification is highly preferred. /li li Three years of experience in human resources generalist functions: recruiting, employee relations, compensation, benefits, payroll, training, employment law, safety, affirmative action, and employment equity programs. /li li Ability to work in an HR team of one supporting an office of fifty employees. /li li Must be proficient with MS Office and have the ability to run benefits, payroll and HR reports. /li li Experience utilizing ADP Workforce Now and Time & Attendance is highly preferred. /li li Ability to be self-directed and motivated to execute
