Assignments may be in the following areas HR Business Partner, Global Compensation, Benefits, Learning and Development, Staffing Operations & University Relations and HR Systems. Generalist and specialist projects will be assigned based on student interest and business needs. Additionally, each intern will have the opportunity to select one project of their choice in any functional HR area. Previous intern projects and responsibilities have included:
Management of the Intern Advisory Board
Driving of fiscal year 2017 Launch Program headcount allocation process
Design of global HR career path
Design of automated Tableau dashboards highlighting key staffing metrics
Building a communications and marketing plan in order to build a culture of recognition
Development of CFO Rotational Program
Creation of annual performance review training courses and materials
Employment branding and university relations
Building a change management plan and training for global launch of a new applicant tracking system
Recommending improvements for the pay for performance structure within the sales team
Strategic Business Partner initiatives (performance management, employee relations, organizational development, delivery of HR programs and initiatives)
All interns will be placed at Maxim s headquarters in San Jose, CA for 12 weeks during summer 2017.
Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
