Job Advertised by Pharmadiversity Job Board - The Human Resources Intern will have a key client interface and play an integral role for new employees joining AstraZeneca. The role also organizes and coordinates many HR programs as well as provides integral support to the entire HR team. Major Responsibilities * Participate in the new employee hire process and orientation, including program facilitation, paperwork collection and processing (I9s and everify). * Program management for on site employee programs, including but not limited to Bring your Child to Work day and School's Out program. * Manage and communicate employee work life benefits, including but not limited to, childcare services, health club services and other employee benefits. Manages vendor relationships for work life benefits. Coordinates and hosts the site benefits fair. * Acts as the point of contact for HR related inquiries. Assists with benefits support to employees in Boston. Has base knowledge of all benefits programs in order to provide answers or direct the employee for further expertise. * Maintains relationships with the centers of excellence, ie-data management, benefits, recruiting, payroll, relocation, etc. * Act as point of contact between the hiring manager, The Right Thing and recruiting. Maintains the recruiting summary, specifically the new hire tab * Supports the HRBP with terminations. Compile packages, performs exit interviews, collects paperwork and send to records and archives management. * Liaison with Wilmington HRDM on all Peoplesoft (HRIS) matters. Maintains all I9s with most up to date working verification. Provide managers with the tools and forms to process all Peoplesoft department changes/movements. * Maintains relationship with immigration vendor to assist with employment visas when needed. Responsible for all in house activities relating to work visas and immigration requests, including processing paperwork and maintaining immigration files. * Provide employment verifications, when requested. * Schedules, tracks and manages logistics of HR training programs. * Assist with facilitation and management of intern programs. This includes developing the lunch and learn series for the summer interns, gathering feedback from participants, developing/suggesting improvements/enhancements to the program. * Represents HR on task forces, meeting and project teams as needed * Resolves local budget discrepancies at the request of the Global HR Business partners * Ensures department invoices and purchasing requests are completed in a timely fashion in EZ Buy. Ensures that invoices are billed against the appropriate purchase order. * Provides administrative support to the HR team.
