JOB DESCRIPTIONThis Human Resources Manager Position Features:
A successful, well-established Greenville, SC distribution company who takes pride in providing excellent service to their customers and building lasting relationships with vendors and employees.
The HR Manager is responsible for employee relations, benefits administration, compensation, policy and procedure development, training, performance management and documentation, recruitment, safety, and compliance with employment laws. The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, sense of urgency, a passion to be successful, excellent time management and written and oral communication skills, and have a thorough knowledge of human resource law.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience and a successful track record in the following areas (including but not limited to):
?Serves as a consultant to management on HR related issues and an advocate and resource for employees while always protecting the best interests of the company.
?Serves as a credible primary point of contact for all employees on all human resources matters.
?Acts as an employee champion and change agent while proactively anticipating and communicating HR related needs.
?Provides performance management guidance to include coaching, counseling, career development and improvement plans.
?Resolves complex employee relations issues through conducting investigations and recommending any necessary coaching and corrective action.
?Provides guidance on organizational and talent management needs, such as job descriptions, workforce planning and compensation planning.
?Supports organizational safety initiatives through active participation in the safety committee and other safety initiatives.
?Maintains and analyzes HR metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies to address human resource needs and positively influence employee retention and engagement.
?Proactively manages workers compensation issues by partnering with leadership to identify and correct safety issues and ensuring all employees with workers compensation claims are provided with the best possible care and maintain a feeling of engagement with our team.
?Facilitates employee on-boarding and conducts out-processing and exit interviews with employees.
?Maintains confidentiality, integrity, and ethical standards.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
?Bachelor?s Degree in Human Resources or related field
?3 years minimum experience in Human Resources
?PHR/SPHR or Employment Law Certification preferred
