The individual in this position will have a strong generalist background with the knowledge and skills to support a broad range of HR functions. This will include providing expertise in recruitment, immigration, compensation, organizational development and training, employee relations, and HR compliance.

Primary Responsibilities:

Work closely with the HR Director to evaluate and develop human resource initiatives that support company goals and are aligned with New England Biolabs culture.
Support hiring managers through all aspects of the recruitment process. Prescreen and interview qualified candidates, facilitate debrief meetings and perform reference checks.
Develop creative sourcing strategies for active and passive candidates. Perform searches for qualified candidates using networking, internet recruiting, social media tools, college recruiting and association memberships. Proactively create a talent pipeline of candidates.
Manage the on-boarding process ensuring that new employees are positioned to be successful.
Handle all aspects of NEB s employment-based immigration petitions.
Administer all student programs (summer interns, co-op students, Masters students).
Conduct training needs assessments to determine appropriate employee and manager development training. Direct the online learning management system adding training that is relevant and directly impacts employee performance.
File annual EEO-1, Vets, and Affirmative Action reports.
Serve as a point person for employee inquiries, including but not limited to benefits, policies and procedures.
Track and analyze relevant HR metrics.
