JOB DESCRIPTIONHuman Resources Manager (Labor Relations) - B
Location: Asheville, North Carolina
MUST HAVE: HRexperience in a Manufacturing unionized environment to qualify for this role. And experince in Labor Relations.
The successful applicant must have:
A Degree/diploma or equivalent in such disciplines as Human Resources Generalist, Management/Labor Relations or Business with Human Resources/Labor Relations is required at the point of hire into this position
A minimum of six years direct experience with conducting investigations or resolving employment related harassment, human rights or violence in the workplace complaints in unionized environments is required
A minimum of six years of progressive labor relations experience which includes direct involvement in the administration of collective agreements, including management of grievance and arbitration procedures in a diverse unionized environment is required
Skills and ExperienceRequired:
Strong knowledge and comprehension of employment law, legislation, and HR best practices
Exceptional interpersonal skills interfacing with employees, leadership vendors and external stakeholders
Proven full-cycle recruitment experience
Strong command of English and an effective communicator
High level of professionalism, urgency, independence, confidentiality, trustworthiness
Budget control and management with keen eye ROI and cost-effectiveness
Organization, prioritization and agent for change management
Intermediate-level business math and Excel skills.
