Job Description Responsible for assisting the Director of Human Resources and the Assistant Director of Human Resources in the daily operation of the office. Duties will include but are not limited to: Train associates on the various resources available and follow-up to ensure their needs are met to their satisfaction. Update the heart-of-the-house bulletin boards and other communication tools to provide an on-brand and welcoming atmosphere for internal guests. Support hotel wide training programs including but not limited to: Orientation, Brand Training, OSHA, Safety, Educational and Associate Recognition programs to assure the continual upgrading of the property. Assist with translation for various areas including but not limited to; drug testing, coaching, benefit explanation, and other related HR services. Working knowledge of federal, state and local laws governing equal employment opportunity and civil rights, occupational safety and health, workers compensation, wage and hour issues, and labor relations, including, but not limited to the following statutes and their comparable state and local laws (where applicable): Title VII, ADEA, Equal Pay Act, Pregnancy Discrimination Act, FLSA, ADA, OSHA, FMLA, ERISA, and NLRA. Perform exceptional communication skills throughout all functions of the job i.e. guests, department managers, and fellow associates.
