We proudly distribute the Mitsubishi and Bryant brands of HVAC equipment, as well as a full-line of HVAC residential and commercial parts, supplies, and accessories. We have 20 locations throughout New England, New York, and New Jersey.



Homans Associates has an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Manager. This role is responsible for leading Human Resource initiatives and promoting a high performance environment, including leadership effectiveness, staffing and sourcing, talent development, performance management, compensation, policy compliance, employee relations, payroll and communications. In addition, the incumbent will define HR strategies and plans to facilitate the achievement of business results, organizational effectiveness and individual development.



This position reports to the President of the company with dotted line reporting to the Corporate VP of Human Resources.



Requirements:

At least ten (10) years of progressive experience in Human Resources and an undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business or related discipline required.

A graduate degree in Business or Human Resources is desirable.

*



Must demonstrate knowledge of HR concepts in theory and practice (i.e. performance management, employee relations, employment law, compensation & benefits, training & development, organizational effectiveness, leadership development, etc)

*



Previous experience in staffing and recruiting required

*



Must have experience deploying variable compensation programs and sales commission plans

*



Must have strong PC skills in Microsoft applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with applicant tracking and payroll systems, Taleo and ADP preferred.

Detail oriented and ability to meet and work within specified objectives and timelines

Professional presence and strong customer service attitude

Excellent communication and organizational skills

*



Strong business acumen with experience partnering with the business leader

*



Able to maintain manager and employee confidence by keeping human resources information confidential
