JOB DESCRIPTIONTemp to hire position for a H.R. Sr. Associate to work the Corporate office of a large international well known company.
Intake employee complaints, conduct investigations, and provide recommendations to management based on the results
Coach and train District Managers/Store Management on company policies and procedures within their region(s), including performance, conduct and attendance issues
Complete Personal Action requests within their region, collaborating the workload between fellow associates if needed
Provide on-call resolution support for all company policies and procedures questions or redirect to the appropriate partners, as well as, respond to HR inquires and work with managers to quickly resolve any issues that may arise
Review, assess, and approve or obtain appropriate level of approval for all Human Resources Inquiry/Termination Requests in your assigned region(s)
Assist Managers to review, manage, and optimize team performance through Performance Management, Succession Planning and Employee Development
Advise Stores HR Associates on the legal policy implications of execution of their workload
Guide Associates with the most appropriate means and methods of mediation between line management and employees
Compile Stores HR team activity/performance data and produce reports to present to the Manager, Stores HR
Provide detailed hands-on assistance to Stores HR Associates in the case of sexual harassment, discrimination or similarly high sensitivity cases
Skills, and Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree (strongly preferred) in Human Resources or related field required
Must have 3+ of relevant Human Resources work experience; in retail or an industry with large non-exempt populations preferred
Must have knowledge of US state and federal labor law and/or experience in an employee relations role
Must have intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask
Must have strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
