Hyperbaric Service Safety Director

Position Summary: Performs duties under supervision of the Medical Director, Program Director, and/or Clinical Coordinator as appropriate for the program. Is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the hyperbaric chamber(s) and related support systems. Is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance on the hyperbaric chamber(s) and related support systems.

Required Education/Training: BA/BS required. Must have completed National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medical Technology approved hyperbaric medicine introductory course.

Be actively certified and/or licensed in one of the following vocations:


Respiratory Therapist
Corpsman (Military)
Medical Services Specialist
EMT-Basic or Paramedic
Registered Nurse, LPN, or LVN
Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA)
Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT)
Physical Therapist
Physical Therapy Assistant
