They will provide operations support with an emphasis on customer service, technical expertise and timeliness while adhering to both security and technical standards. br   br /span B Duties and Responsibilities: /B span style='color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-family:Times New Roman;font-size:12pt;font-weight:normal;font-style:normal;' br • Development, deployment, training and support of iSeries/DB2 applications. This includes, but is not limited to, iTera, M3, Custom Programming, System Configuration and System utilities. br • Configuration, maintenance and support of IBM iSeries and M3 application operations. br • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to iSeries/M3 use, support, security, patches and back-up. br • iSeries and M3 license compliance, system life cycle management and documentation. br • Identify opportunities or risks and provide recommendations on application solutions to meet business initiatives. br • Knowledge of ILE RPG programming with a strong grasp of functions, modules and service programs. br • Knowledge of OS/400, CL, SQL, sub files, databases and system design. br • Experience in using journaling, especially remote journaling. br • Develop and implement the iSeries elements of disaster recovery procedures. br • Develop and maintain documentation for iSeries and application/database topologies. br • Provide on-call support as needed. br   br /span B Education and/or Experience: /B span style='color:#000000;background-color:transparent;font-family:Times New Roman;font-size:12pt;font-weight:normal;font-style:normal;' br • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or six to eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. br   br Technical Skills: br • Experience in designing, implementing and deploying solutions in an IBM iSeries environment. br • Experience supporting IBM i systems with multiple logical partitions (LPAR's) and HMC. br • Experience in AS400 Security Management, Communications, Operating System Upgrades and PTF deployment br   br   br   br /span br /span
